In November 2005 Borlas Consulting Group and representative office of Oracle corporation in CIS signed a contract for giving the right to Borlas CG to render services on First Line Support to the users of Oracle E-Business Suite integrated applications complex in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
For execution of this contract Oracle Technical support center (OTSC) was set up in Borlas group; it is the first and still the only one center in Russia serving as the first contact for users and it deals with search of solutions when technical problems arise in the operation process of Oracle E-Business Suite applications complex.
Oracle E-Business Suite integrated solutions complex is one of the most full-featured and complicated complexes of integrated applications in the world. It is possible to use this complex to a full extent only at the condition of rendering qualified high-level technical support. Depending upon the requirements of users, configuration complexity and character of Oracle E-Business Suite use, several levels of technical support are provided, starting from Standard Technical Support.
If business of organizations (users of this complex) seriously suffers and incurs substantial losses because of wrong functioning of Oracle E-Business Suite or noticeable halts in its operation, it is recommended to such organizations to purchase technical support of higher levels — Extended Technical Support.
